How to Use the Osprey Global Bore Sight System

Using the Osprey Global Bore Sight System is simple and straightforward:

1. Insert the batteries into the bore sight body, ensuring the flat (positive "+") side is facing the battery cap. Tighten the cap by turning it clockwise until secure.
2. Carefully place the bore sight into the chamber of your firearm and slowly close the bolt until it fits snugly. The entire bore sight body does not need to be completely in the chamber for it to function properly.
3. Locate a target 20-30 yards away and observe the laser point, which represents the theoretical point of impact. Adjust the windage and elevation of your scope or sight to align with the laser point.
4. When sighting in at 25 yards, the shot should be within 4 inches of the bullseye at 100 yards. Adjust the scope or rifle according to the manufacturer's instructions to account for the change in distance.
