To use the boresight, simply insert the batteries with the positive side facing the cap, then carefully place the boresight into the chamber and close the bolt. Locate a target 20-30 yards away, and adjust the windage and elevation of the scope or sight onto the laser point. Theoretically, when sighting in at 25 yards, the shot will be within 4 inches of the bullseye at 100 yards.
